Hey everybody, I want to introduce myself as I am fairly new to posting and am looking for some good conversation and ideas. Good to meet you all as well. Miss Curly, those smoothies sound amazing! A good smoothie recipe is hard to find. I tried to blend up my own once and it turned into a huge mess. The best way to describe it was a mixed berry fiasco. I still drank it though because it was the effort that counts. Thanks again.

I often have a breakfast smoothie. I use this recipe to make one serving when I need something quick in the morning on my way out the door.

Good Morning Smoothie
one scoop of low-fat frozen yogurt (I use vanilla)or two tablespoons of plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 Cup of frozen fruit (my favorite is mixed fruit)
1/3 cup of orange juice
1/3 cup low-fat milk
1/2 banana
1 teaspoon of sugar or artificial sweetner
Blend until smooth and enjoy!
