Thanks![/I'm a hairdresser and i tell my clients to get a spray bottle and put some good conditioner in it (about an inch on the bottom ) and the rest water Shake good and spray on the hair as your brushing through. you don't have to rinse out. It will condition all the time usually that curly hair needs to be more conditioned. good luck Smiler

Everyone in my family knows the pain of tangled curls.

Sometimes a leave-in conditioner AFTER shampooing is necessary. We use a wide tooth comb or pick to slowly work our way through to the end.

A wonderful product is freeze-ease by Frieda, but there are others that are a lot less expensive and do the same thing. Working it through every strand and the hair is absolutely beautiful with no tangles, and very easy to comb through the next morning.

We also use a spray bottle in the morning with warm/hot water (Curly hair does not respond well to cold water)and work our way down with the pick.

By the way, her hair is gorgeous! it dries by itself in cherub ringlets and when wet, it is long, to the small of her back. When dry it is shoulder length.

Good luck. Hope something I said works for you and your daughter.

I have used a product called "Infusium" You can buy it at most pharmacies. Or you can look in the childrens section for a hair detangler. I have used Infusium when my hair is wet and it makes it much easier to brush out the hair.
hope it works for you.

I and my daughter have the same problem. Always use a hydrating conditioner when washing. Loreal Vive and Garnier Fructis make good ones. Never brush through curls and only comb them when wet. You hold the hair in sections and start at the bottom. When washing before bed loosely braid hair or pin up in a bun to avoid tangles. When hair is very unruly try using a conditioning cream to coat hair before brushing. Johnson's also makes a new detangling cream conditioner which works wonders and my daughter loves. It makes combing out tangles that much easier and it's not costly.

I have very thick and naturally curly hair. I always use either a moisturizing or defrizzing shampoo and conditioner. I then follow it with a leave in conditioner. I really love the "None of Your Frizzness" by Herbal Essence. It detangles and helps fight the frizz. To help to keep it tame, I also use the "IT" hair gel. It works wonders.

Continuation of my reply for frizzy hair . always try to work and mold your hair with your hands , Pick , or a comb NEVER brush your hair when it is wet , remember a healthy head of hair " by strands will stretch . and by brushing you can snap the strands of hair causing to look like you have breakage in various spots. Remember when we all use elastic bands for our pony tail's before they came out with the cloth one's . and by pulling those elastic bands out of our hair the breakage you seen . Well it has the same effect using a brush on wet hair. Anyway that is my advice . Been a hairstlist for 30 Yrs. I have taught classes in this Buis.. and also had my own Salon But truly and honestly I Love what I do. Now I just free lance .
