i have a really major problem with pimples on my face. and it's not just a couple pimples, it's a lot of pimples. just last week i had about 21 pimples on my nose. this is sooooooooooo NOT good. i can't remember the last time that my face had no pimples on it. this is really driving me nuts. i am stressesd out a lot and this be the culprit, but i know that that is not the only reason i get so many of them. are there certain ways that i can get rid of them or at least lessen the amount? if there is somebody puhleeeeeeese tell me, i really need to know. thankyou

There are alot of over-the-counter medicines out there to help with this.

One trick that does work (it sounds a little weird) is to do at night. After you have washed your face, put some toothpaste on the effected areas and leave it on while you sleep. Wash it off in the morning and it should help make them less noticeable. Note: It needs to be the paste kind, not the gel kind.

Also, you may have sensitivity to some perfumes or ingredients in some of the things you use like soaps or make-up or lotions. I am and have a hard time finding things that don't make me break out.

DON't do the toothpaste thing. Especially if you have bad acne. It actually burns the skin (the equivalent of a strong chemical peel) My sisters all have severe acne. My youngest sister tried the toothpaste thing on her skin when she was about 15 and woke up to a very red face and nearly all her skin peeling off! IT was horrible to look at and we had to go to my grandmother's funeral with her face like that. It took days for the peeling to stop and did NOTHING for the acne. In fact she ended up with a skin infection.

Murad has a lot of good information on the site. Ask your mom to take you to a dermatologist. You may need an Rx gel like Clindamycin or Benzamycin to help treat your condition. Try to not scrub as it can make things worse. My one sister ultimately had her acne attributed to hormones when she was about 17. She had pimples on top of pimples with cysts. She was put on oral contraceptives which helped with her issues. My other two sisters required Accutane.

Now as adults my sisters SWEAR by Mariobadescu

I totally agree with the toothpaste trick. Whenever I get any- which at my age I still do occasionally,I wash my face before bed and put a dab of toothpaste on and in the morning they are gone!

I want to Thank miss curly for my "Happy Birthday" wish! Even though I worked today, it was Wonderful- I actually got spoiled!
Thanks, again!

I am 30 years old and was getting really really bad acne. Figured out it was my daily serving of yogurt. I cut that out and the pimples are gone.
