Hello,

I love this site, I read a great deal of the topics but this is my first time to post anything.

May I impose on everyone to say a prayer (or two) for me? I have been off work since 19 Aug due to health issues, originally surgery was going to be 27 Aug but "obstacles" stood in the way, surgery is now scheduled for 2 Oct (4 hrs of major abdominal). I am now on 60% pay and scared to death what is going to happen to me...I will not be able to make my Oct rent/bills and REFUSE to go back to an abusive homeless shelter. I have lived out of my van before but my health was not at this state, I am 57 yrs old, walk with a cane. I SO need the prayers to be added with my own to help me get thru this. Sometimes I feel I have put GOD on overload I pray so much. I was once promised a 2nd appearance on the Ellen show (was on in 2003 when it was new--via remote hookup) but that has never happened. I often think...if I could get a thousand people to be part of a an email campaign to her...maybe I could get the 2nd appearance. Who knows?? Right now...prayers is what I so desperately need. Hello Shirley,i am way behind on your story....i pray your surgery went well.and you are on the road to recovery!!i have no doubt the Lord was with you and still is.all we have to do is ask.i will continue to pray for you and that you are comfortable where you are healing.times can get real hard sometimes,and i have had a few,but He kept me going,and he will you too!!!!please update us all when you can.we all will be praying for you.

DEAR SHIRLEY,I UNDERSTAND YOUR PROBLEMS BUT GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP AND HELP YOU EVEN WHEN YOU THINK HE'S NOT THERE...WHEN I WAS ONLY 6YRS OLD I WAS HEALED BY THE LORD...MY DAD WAS A BAPTIST PREACHER AND HAD EVERY CHURCH IN OUR AREA AND BEYOND SAYING PRAYERS FOR ME...SO I AM PROOF OF A MIRACLE...AFTER BEING IN A COMA FOR SEVERAL WEEKS..ONE DAY I LOOKED OVER AT MY PRECIOUS MOM,WHO NEVER LEFT MY BEDSIDE,THAT "GOD MADE ME WELL"...EVEN THE DOCTOR SAID IT WAS THE LORDS WORK THAT HEALED ME...CAUSE HE HAD GIVEN UP...BUT THE LORD NEVER GIVES UP ON US...SO I WILL ASK ALL MY WEB SITE FRIENDS TO SAY SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR YOU AND HAVE THEM SAYING PRAYERS FOR MYSELF & HUSBAND...FOR WE ARE GOING THROUGH HEALTH ISSUES ALSO...I WAS TOLD JUST LAST WEEK I NEED BOTH KNEES TOTALLY REPLACED AND NEED BOTH SHOULDERS REPAIRED. MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN OFF WORK WITH ONLY 60% OF HIS PAY ALSO..HE HAS DEGENERATIVE SPINE DISEASE...AND HAS BEEN TOLD BY THE DOCTORS HE HAS TO RETIRE. HE IS ALSO FACING LOWER SPINE(DISK) REPLACEMENT,AND SINCE HIS SURGERY IN 2006 TO REPLACE 2 MISSING DISK,NOW THE DISK ABOVE THOSE NEEDS REPLACED...WE WOULD ALSO APPRECIATE ALL THE PRAYERS FROM EVERYONE WHO TRULY BELIEVES IN MIRACLES...I REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON MY HUSBAND OF 37YRS.OF MARRIAGE...WE ARE HIGH SCHOOL SWEET HEARTS AND THIS IS THE HARDEST TIMES WE'VE EVER HAD TO ENDURE...WE ALL NEED PRAYERS..THIS COUNTRY NEEDS OUR PRAYERS MORE THAN EVER BEFORE AND "GOD'S PEOPLE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE...PLEASE JOIN ME IN PRAYERS FOR OUR COUNTRY TO WAKE UP AND COME TOGETHER..."WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE"....GOD BLESS,SHARON ROSE
