I've seen a lot of people asking what to do with all of those little bottles. Well they are coming with screw caps now and they make great holders for bead and small sewing items. You don't have to worry about the caps falling off, or calling a 3 year old to open the child proof cap anymore. They sit upright in a box, and can be marked on the tops so that you immediately know what is where. What do you think?

Some of the things that I have used them for is to put a daily dose in for when I go on trips. For example if I am going to be going some where for 5 days I put five daily doses in 5 small bottles. That way it is all ready and seperated and if something happens I don't loose more than just a few.
I have also used them to put ointment in like home made lip balms. The bigger bottles hold change and make a great rattle for a frustrated little one in a pinch and they can't get the lid off so it is safe as well as effective. |

I use the larger ones for cough drops. Put a few in and keep the bottle in the car. Make sure you scratch off the label first though, then, if you are super organized, make your own.

I SAVE THEM FOE MY HUSBAND, AND HE USES THEM IN HIS SHOP FOR NUTS & BOLTS, ALSO FOR HIS FISHING THINGS, A LITTLE WORD OF ADVICE, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL IN USEING THE BOTTLES FOR OUT OF TOWN TRIPS AND DAY TRIPS, IF YOUR STOP BY THE POLICE AND THEY HAPPEN TO SEE THIS, YOU WILL GO TO JAIL. I HAD THIS HAPPEN TO A FRIEND OF MINE, AND SHE DIDN'T HAVE HER SCRIP WITH HER. SO BE VERY CAREFYLL.

I save them for my husband also. He uses the empty containers in his tool box. He puts nuts, bolts, and tiny screws. Makes everything handy and all together.

I like to use the large ones to store herbs and spices that I dont use frequently. The containers are dark which helps to preserve the contents. I label the tops date them with a marker and put them in a drawer, easy to find and refill. A teaspoon or tablespoon fits right in,and you can use the top to level the measurement! outta sight outta mind and no dusting !

Hello Everyone, I use the prescription bottles to save flower seeds for the next year. Also they are handy to carry change for toll roads.

I used them for paint for my students and other arts and craft supplies like glitter and glue. It really saved the floor and my classroom budget.

I use the 35mm film containers for the same types of things you all are talking about for the prescription bottles. Change for the car or purse, on a trip I put small jewelery in them, lotion (if I don't want to take my mega size w/ me). I have paper clips, tacks, nails, tylenol, safety pins, everything small. I even put a $50 bill in one and hid it for an emergency shopping day.

One really good use for these bottles is camping. You can use them for condiments, liquids that you only need a small amount of (olive oil, shampoo, etc, the list is endless) and keep a couple of empty ones because something always falls off during a camping trip! This can be anything from a button to a favorite stuffed animal's eye to a part of the car.
They are also good for carrying small items in your purse that you are trying to match up at the store like a screw or nail and good for bringing in jewlery to be cleaned (wrap in cotton or cloth). Anything small that is messy and/or must not be lost is perfect for one of these bottles. Happiness=10%Circumstance+90%Attitude |

We use them in the Fishing tackle box to keep small hooks, flys, baits etc. The gel type ones will dry out unless you store them in an airtight/watertight container.

I drill a small hole in the top of one and I use it to put bent pins and old sewing machine needles into. this way I don't have to worry about someone geting stuck if they put there hand in the trash or if it were to poke through the bag. I also like them for holding yarn needles for travel. I also use the m&m mini containers for this too. THey work well for change like quarters
