I use them for leftover screws that with things you put together. Like bookshelves and if they come with their own tools you can tape them to the side. Then just label them, example bookshelf dining room. If you have many home do it yourself furniture you can always enlist the help of a sick friend! Big Grin

I use my old plastic pill bottles by first washing them very well and then using them to mix either flour and water or corn starch and water for gravy! You can then throw them away without a second thought. Just the right size, too!

I fill a tupprware container with hot soapy water and submerge the bottles overnight.
Just take a butter knife and scrape the labels off!

I use them for anything from paperclips, to rubberbands, to storing my beading supplies, to whatever I have that is very small, including using them for small jewelry gift boxes; sometimes they are just the right size fot the jewelry I make, & give as gifts, & it wraps up nicely in a pill bottle, just gather wrap, tie up with a ribbon at the top, & it's wrapped. Also good for small amounts of hand cream, or rub, shampoo, etc., esp. for traveling & saving space.
And to get the labels off, take a sharp knife, & start at one corner, & just peel slowly & it comes right off with a little patience. Just roll & peel once you start it woth the knife.

I use them for my coins, they are good to store the new quarters in, the bigger ones are good for half dollars.

Old prescription bottles are great for putting Q-tips in for traveling. If you're only going for a few days. This way you don't have to worry about them getting messed up and you don't have to bring the whole box or buy one of those little fancy Q-tip holders.
