Use them for your lunch bag! Ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, grated cheese when you take leftover spaghetti. Small enough to fit in lunch containers and large enough to hold your condiments.

Use them for beads - glue one on the top instead of trying to write the description - makes them easy to find!

I am diabetic and when I travel I use them to store my used meter needles. Upon arriving home I transfer them to my Sharps container.

I also use them for quarters for the laundromat and for tolls when traveling.

I use the prescription bottles to hold small desk supplies like tacks and paper clips. They are also very helpful when doing craft projects at home to hold extra screws or small parts. These bottles are great for travel because I often times put my jewelry like small earrings and necklaces in the bottles. The lids stay tight and the jewelry stays safe.

I peel off the labels. I then donate them to my local Methodist church for use in their medicine for missions program.

I use them to store my sewing needles in. Mark the bottles on the outside with the machine needles size, I have also made sewing kits for them while traveling. You can put so little in you bags now that are being checked on planes. They are light and there when you need them.

I'll never throw away another bottle! These are all clever uses. Thanks for the one for watering plants. I can't wait to start decorating them and put them to use. Way to go girls!!!!

I love all of your ideas for using empty prescription bottles! I also use mine when we are traveling to put some of my meds in that I don't need to haul all the larger bottles when only going for a couple days.

This is the first time I have ever known of anyone else saving and using used prescription bottles. When my family sees them in a bin or box somewhere, the always ask me why I keep them. Now I know, I am not alone. I use them to try and stay organized with the little things, but they work perfect for your favorite lotion to put in your purse. During the summer months, I fill one w/cotton bowls saturated in wictch hazel to keep my face fresh and pores clear. Of course, I ask my pharmacist if they recycle them, if they do not they are mine.
