I fill the smaller prescription bottles with hand lotion and carry them in my purse, my van, and in my lunch bag. This way I am not carrying or buying several bottles at a time.

I recycle plastic pill containers by removing the prescription label, and replacing it with a personalized one I make for a dear one. Inside, I put little strips of paper on which I've written wishes, advice, thoughtful reminders, etc. It's a nice way to let someone know you're thinking of them often! These containers can also be used as mini flower vases; just put in some clay for a base and stick in tiny flowers for a small shelf or window sill decoration.

When I worked in a day care, we filled them with water, put them in the freezer and used them when the kids needed ice. We called them boo boo bottles. They worked well on small areas. The kids seemed to like them better than ice in baggies etc.

Enjoy life..soak it in.

We donate our cleaned RX bottles to a free clinic, who recycle them with prescriptions to people who cannot afford to buy their own. Our whole church participates in this program

Prescription bottles can cleaned and used for sounding containers for young children. You can add a few pennies, a little rice, or beans and they give off different sounds when children shake them. Use your own ideas to make a rainy day happy for your children. If the children are toddlers or younger I superglue the cap on so there are no accidents to worry about.
At times I have even covered the containers with construction paper and played a guessing game with children.

Hi, I use them for my TUMS tablets. They fit conveniently in my bag, instead of taking the whole big bottle....also, my grand-daughter uses them at the beach to put little shells in.

We use the used prescription bottles as toothpick holders. Also for almost everything else the folks have mentioned on this site.

My Husband uses them for storing wrapped up fish eggs (bait) for steelhead.
Also, our school is doing a fundraiser. Quarters for a Cure. We are supposed to fill it with spare quarters and turn in to go to Race for the Cure. The class with the most quarters, the poor teacher will have to dye her/his hair!
