I am looking also to purchase one myself as I heard its great for tile, linoleum, carpets, bedding, windows, fabrics, bathrooms, kitchens, grills, ovens, sealed hardwood floors and anywhere grease, grime, mold, and mildew. You can even use the steam cleaner to remove wrinkles from clothing, strip wax floors and wallpaper and degrease your automobile engine. They are a bit pricy, from $299 to over $1,000.00, but it is worth it.

I have researched and researched and found the VAPORSTORM at www.steamcleanersplus.com which is on sale now for 169.00 with free shipping and a 12 piece attachment set included. The company is on back order for 2 weeks due to the sales offer. I will post again when it arrives and let you all know what I think.

I have had one of these vapor steam cleaners for several months now and I cannot imagine life without one. Everything is so much cleaner will less the work. And I’m helping save the environment because I rarely buy chemical cleaning solutions now.
Here are some great testimonials. Here are some great testimonials. |

HI ALL!
I bought a big tank steam cleaner years ago from one of the home shopping stations. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT when cleaning big jobs. I will start with the down-side...it does NOT do for grease as shown on TV. My husband pops popcorn daily which leaves hard little grease blobs that I have not found anything that removes them completely. I must flick them off the stove and surrounding areas with my fingernail. Since this is daily project, I was hoping the steam cleaner would solve this problem. Other than that problem, I love the way the steam clean makes windows and mirrors shine with no streaks. Make sure to use a cloth on the window sills as the steam hitting the cooler window causes water to fall as you use the squeegee. My ceramic floor that streaks with any other cleaner, even with distilled water and vinegar, is clean, clean clean with the steamer. In fact, I bought a smaller floor-only steamer that only holds a cup of water to use frequently on this floor. The floor stays cleaner longer as there is no residue to attract dirt. I can freshen linens and bedding with the steam and clean the bathroom and kitchen walls more frequently as this appliance is so easy to use. It powers gunk out of corners and under toilet hinges and around faucets with the concentrator nozzle. In other words, when doing big time cleaning, out comes my steamer. It holds hours worth of steam so doing little jobs is not worth this big appliance. A freebie is that you get a free facial when using this appliance. I am looking into buying a hand-held steamer so I can use steam to clean small projects. I like the idea that this hot, hot water disinfects without using smelly stuff. I have a reaction to clorine bleach and must wear a mask and gloves when using. Surfaces dry MUCH faster when using steam. For example 5 minutes on the floor with steam versus a half hour with mopping. Just my opinion. Have a great one! |

Here is a link to a smaller version of what I bought:
http://home-solutions.hsn.com/multi-purpose-steamer_p-4..._id=4192810&ocm=sekw This steamer holds 45 minutes of steam. Less expensive than the VAPORSTEAM mentioned above. Though of another pro...grout!!! I use the brush with the steam to clean floor grout annually before sealing. Another con....this appliance get hot and must be cooled down before putting away. Newer models may have solved this problem. I mention as if you want to clean and be done with it, this cooling off period may turn you off this appliance. Do you get the idea that I like this type of cleaning? Yes-yes-yes. I love this innovation as much as I like my microwave! |

I got a Shark Steam vac for Xmas from my hubby and I adore it. With a 2 year old and 2 dogs running around, this picks up sticky messes and sanitizes at the same time.
The model I have produces steam in about 30 seconds and the pads really pick up a lot of dirt and are re usable. |

I bought the little Lysol floor steamer on sale for $20! It works great and when it dies, I may look into a more expensive one or I may just get another one of these. It's a great way to try the steam cleaning of floors. No attachments for any other jobs, but I am very satisfied with this steamer. It works great on sealed hardwood, stone and ceramic. I definitely have gotten my moneys worth. You can use just water, or there is a place to add cleaner. The water alone works fine for me.

I bought a little sears steam floor cleaner years ago. I love it. It cleans squeaky clean without cleansers and I feel it has less germs due to the steam. It's easy to use and it's lightweight. It even easily cleans stuck on food and scuff marks. I just put in water, let it heat and it's ready to go, after I'm done I throw the cloths from the bottom in the washer, no drying though.

I researched and found a great vapor steam system called vapamore, for a reasonable price. It offers allot of bang for the buck for $299 compared to others in the same category.
I've read some good things about it. |
