HELP! I BOUGHT NEW LEATHER FURNITURE. I RECENTLY TOOK IN AN ABANDONED KITTEN, FED IT WITH A BOTTLE, AND IT NOW LIVES IN MY HOME. IT ALSO HAS MADE SOME SCRATCHES ON MY NEW LEATHER. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW I CAN REPAIR THESE SCRATCHES??? THANKS PAT

Pat,
If you have olive oil dab a small amount of of it onto a cloth/dishtowel/old sock. Lightly rub the oiled cloth/dishtowel/old sock onto the scratches. Do not put the olive oil directly onto couch |

I'm glad to read about the olive oil idea...what I had been doing with some slight success was just rubbing with my fingers...the oil from my fingers lessened the scratches.

This depends on what type of leather you have, If it is an aniline style that scratches easily when you run your finger nail acroos it then a good leather protector will sort out the problem and do your leather good as well.
If it is a pigmented/protected leather that has got scratched then you will need a color matching exactly as the furniture to get rid of these. Just me |
