The Greese Aluminum Filter Should Be Cleaned
Regularly, Perhaps Once A Month. Carefully
Remove The Filter And Soak It For An Hour In
Hot Water With A Mild Dishwashing Detergent
( Such As Dawn ). Rinse, Dry And Replace.
Do Not Use The Dishwasher Or Household
Ammonia. Some Filters Contain Charcoal And
These Should Be Replaced, Not Cleaned.

Have A Blessed Day.

Try steaming over a pot of boiling water and then put in your dishwasher (if you have one) or then put screen in sink with dish detergent and pour the boing water over it and let soak. Depending on how long it's been clogged, you may need to do this more than once. Been there and had to do that.

I was an apt. manager for 7 years and we would just stick them in a dishwasher ...also stick your bathroom fan covers, and drip pans in there too!!!

YES,I used to clean rentals for a living. Remove the screen, spray the screen with Greased Lightning. Also, spray under the hood. Be sure to let it soak for about 10 minutes. Then rinse the screen with clean water.
You may also have to use Brillo under the hood along with a scraper ( like a putty knife or in some cases, a razor blade) for really stuck on grease. You can also use Greased Lightning on burner pans and under the burner pans, on some models( not smooth top). If you have a ceramic top stove, cover top with news paper or plastic. This will save clean up time( grease dripping on stove). This method saved me time in cleaning. Good luck!
