I use the website swaptree.com a lot to trade books and movies that I no longer want for ones that I haven't read or watched. I've gained a lot of new books and movies this way.

When my son was about 7 I bartered my skills as a photograher for a trampoline. My friends daughter got a modeling portfolio and my son got a trampoline.

I live at the beach so that means I have a lot of friends and family that want to take their vacations or weekends at my home. I have a small house so I have to find other beds. I have neighbors that only occasionaly use there vacation homes so I mow and take care of their yards or paint or do other things so I can have access to their homes.

In the spring we get a new bunch of baby chicks as they mature we only want the hens.We trade the roosters to the local coffee shop guy for fresh coffee beans. I get java he gets organic chicken!!!!!

I traded my baking for piano lessons for my 6 year old daughter. I love to cook and she learned to play piano, she is 19 now and still plays

When I was first married, I had a large aluminum bowl for putting fruit in. My neighbor liked it, but I didn't. She offered to trade me for a golden glass bowl. We traded and years later I found myself in possession of a carnival glass bowl, which I later sold for $15.
