On January 31, 2008 I had a "small heart attack", as they said. That small heart attack turned out to be a blocked artery at 99%. I've since had a sent put in, and on the road to a new life. Walking has become an new part of that life, and a short three months after my "broken heart", I am walking 5k's now, doing weight training three times a week, and Tai Chi for relaxation. I've signed up for a charity walk to do the 5k/10k Walk, and hope to achieve the 10K by the end of the month!

LOL, well being Canadian I guess I hadn't quite thought of that, but would be a nice goal for the future. Guess what I failed to mention in my original posting was that the heart attack came at the ripe old age of 40 and three months! Lucky me to have the rest of my life.
