Three years ago I weighed 215 pounds and my health was a mess! My son and his family moved to a new home on a county road that has hill after hill and goes around 2.4 miles. I started pushing my new granddaughter in a stroller and now I weigh 135 and wear a size 8! I was wearing an 18-20! My granddaughter now calls me her "Little Grandma"! We have worn out 3 strollers and I don't care if we wear out 30! It feels so good to buy my clothes now!

Hi everyone, I am know as the greenlady because I have great green finger and also owned a nursery and and had a interior and exterior landscaping business for many years. I tell you this to let you know I WORKED hard at my jobs. But i oved all my customers. but i begain to hurt so bad for years, I could not keep going and I had to sell by business, but pain can not hate my knowledge of plants from me. After many dr. and surgery's, they found that I have FMS/CF, and Crohn's. I started a pain group at my church, I help people just my talking. And now we have started a walking time twice a week at the church in our gym. We stated today and we made 3 rounds. Next time we will count the steps. I say

I started walkin over 4 years ago. I did it at first because of high cholestrol then after getting my walkman I just loved dancing around the mall to my country music. The pounds came off at first then thyroid problems so the pounds are back. The walking will never stop not only because I have fun but many get a big bang out of the Mall Dancing Lady. Bad winters it is inside nice days outside.

Well I started walking a year ago,I had surgery and by the time i could get up i well had gained a few,So know i walk alot,and whats best about that is i have a park right near my house,so in just a year and drinking green tea ,walkink and watched what i ate,ive gone from 200 pounds too 134,whew was not easy i will tell ya that much,but its done but i still walk everyday around the park at least 3 or 4 times aday and with all the wieght lose i feel better than ever.

I too, am starting off my year with walking to shed pounds and also help my over-all health. I am so proud of myself for this week. I walked a total of 15 miles, in 4 days. Three miles the first day, Four miles the second day, 5 miles the third day, and 3 miles the fourth day. It rained most of the fourth day, so I was lucky to get in 3 miles in between the rain showers. But I did and I am so happy. I intend to keep this up. I should shed lots of pounds like this.

Hi guys!! I'm new here but I love this magazine. I was 280 pounds June of 06 and now i'm 224 because of walking and eating right. I work a lot of hours and I'm a single mom of a 12 and 13 year old. They are so good and keeping me going. If i can only get 5 min of walking in 4 or 5 times a day that is good enough for me. I also have lost 2 in on my waist in 3 weeks yeah!!!
