Oh, lottery dreams...If I could win, I would, no doubt, give more than 25% to charity. Schools, women's shelters, children's charities, church, and many other fabulous organizations would win with me.

I would give 25% to charities and colleges, especially for students that can't afford to attend. When I returned to college at the age of 48, I was among some of the brightest students that really struggled with school and part-time jobs. I would set-up a program to target those students so they would not have to worry about so much stress.

I would give it all to our local boys and girls club here in our area. We are in need of funds to operate....we are a small community with no industries and it's very hard when you have to fund raise constantly. I have personally seen so many lives of children changed....keeping them off the streets and giving them a stay place that they can call their own!

I would at least give 15% or more to charity and not just well-known national or global charities. I would give to my city's local shelters, food banks, churches, and other services helping those who are trying to help themselves. I would give to local families dealing with their childrens' illnesses, floods, fire, and other hardships. I would want to ease some of their burden. I would do it like random acts of kindness.

After seven years of running a library with insufficient space for students to study, or for us to proctor tests in privacy or provide enough computers for all the people who would like to search/apply for jobs, most of my lottery win would go to building a new library with room for all. Please think of your local library when you are looking for a way to help. Libraries are major partners in helping people improve their lives.

Since I am on the verge of losing my home, I would first use it on myself. It would take a miracle to win the lottery. I would help another friend in need.

first, I'll make my family debt-free first.
Then put aside college money for the kids.
The rest for our retirement, charity and health researches
